Quotes given are basic estimates based on size, location, detail, etc. Every person’s skin is different, and there are many factors that can affect the speed of each session, including how well the client sits, how receptive their skin is and even this varies on each person day to day. For this reason quotes are only ballpark figures.
Your project will be charged at the hourly rate of $200 +GST, unless the project is quoted by the piece at a set price.
Your drawing will be ready on the day of your appointment. Small adjustments can be made day of, major adjustments will require a new booking. If you change your mind on a drawing, a new deposit will be required, so make sure you have all your details decided and communicated clearly before leaving a deposit. All tattoos are drawn custom.
If you have a full day booked and do not intend sitting for the full amount of hours, please let your artist know 7 days prior otherwise you will be charged for the time you booked.
Rescheduling your appointment day or time, or requesting alterations to the agreed upon design, requires a minimum of
48 hours, however one week is preferred. Please be advised that if you attempt to reschedule or request an alteration without a minimum of 48 hours notice your deposit may be forfeited.
Deposit will be forfeited if you do not have proper photo I.D with you at the time of your appointment, if you are more than 15 minutes late or if you mix up your appointment time.
Touch ups and Cover-ups
After 4 months post-heal, there will be a regular hourly charge for touch ups. Most cover ups require more than one session to disguise the old tattoo. Clients will be charged the regular hourly rate. Feet, hands, neck, knees, elbows, ditch etc. These locations are difficult to tattoo, painful, and can be difficult to heal. You will not be able to move or use these body parts as you normally would. You may have to take time off work and touch ups are charged the regular hourly rate.
If you use numbing cream prior, touch ups will be charged at regular hourly rate. Numbing cream saturates the skin before the procedure making it hard for the maximum amount of pigment, causing poorer retention. A numbing spray is sometimes used during the tattoo session.
You must eat and drink prior to appointment. Get that blood sugar up.
Do not consume alcohol, aspirin, or any other blood-thinning agents within 48 hours of your appointment. This includes supplements like Ginkgo Biloba, Echinaecca, Cold medicines like Cold FX or Energy Drinks like Redbull and Monster.
You should not get a tattoo two weeks prior to traveling, camping, swimming, hiking, beaching, tanning, or any other circumstances that involve sun, water, dirt or sweat. These are all unsavory conditions for healing.
You cannot get a tattoo if you are pregnant/breastfeeding or if you are sick.
Please notify your artist before planning your tattoo session if you have any allergies, skin or health conditions that may affect the process and/or your ability to get tattooed or heal a tattoo. For example, we cannot tattoo on areas that exhibit symptoms of psoriasis or eczema, and keloids or have exhibited in the past. You cannot get tattooed over a sunburn.
Please shower prior to appointment and care for area being tattooed leading up to appointment. Use lotion and exfoliate.
You must be 18+ to get tattooed and you must come to your appointment by yourself.
Payment of your non-refundable deposit will be considered the acceptance of, and agreement to, the above-noted terms and conditions.
